The Trust helps deserving (needy and meritorious) students by paying 50% of coaching fee for private tuition. Presently 100 children are getting this advantage. The Trust plans to extend this scheme to 150 students in the next 2 yrs & then continue at that level.


  1. 1. The Trust helps students from poor families who have studied Gurmat with the trust for 5 yrs and more & have taken admission in professional courses by providing financial support up to Rs. 1 lakh for the total duration of their course (Rs. 25000/- approx. per year.) Presently 158 professional students (2018-19) are being helped under this scheme. They are also being provided with Akaash tablets as donated by S. Suneet Singh Tuli CEO of Datawind Canada.
  3. 2. Two day camps are organized twice every year where these students interact with experts from general education & gurmat.
  5. 3. The Trust maintains contact with these students through letters. Every alternate month a handout on a variety of subjects (both religion and academic) is sent to the students. Gursikh achievers are invited to meet & address the students with idea to give them role model in life.

The trust plans to take 50 students in our group with financial support every year from 2013 (25 directly by trust & 25 by other agencies) and take another 50 in our professional students contact program from professional colleges. The idea is to establish an intake of 100 professional students every year so that in 3-4 years we have 100 qualified professionals entering the profession. Trust wants to create big pool of middle level & top level professional who can lead a truthful life with SEWA BHAWNA & spread the message of Guru’s. This group actually will work as change agents for Sikh samaj.
  9. 5. Trust aims to create, at least, 2000 middle level gursikh professionals who can lead truthful life with Sewa Bhawna in next 15-20 yrs.
